It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the record chasers, are the only things left for a squad that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's challenging for their batsmen to hold a record if not provided the opportunity.

Ultimately, the outcome of Australia conceding 330 was skipper Alyssa Healy receiving a chance to create her newest gem.

Initially recognized as the 19-year-old niece of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after her nation couldn't capture either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups held the previous year and has seen it all through 15 successful years since.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at the global tournament - and her ton in 84 as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this tournament need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.
